Magnesium anodes are used to protect most buried metallic structures found in a range of highly receptive soil, for magnesium has a greater driving potential than any other galvanic material.

ELEMENTS INDUSTRIAL’s goal is to produce high quality magnesium anodes cast from the purest form of magnesium. These anodes can produce high working driving potential of -1.77 to 1.82 volts (respect Cu/CuSo4); their current efficiency is over 51%. Our anodes are furnished in 3, 5, 9, 17, 32, and 48 pound sizes. Backfill materials for anodes consist of 75% gypsum, 20% bentonite and 5% sodium sulfate. Anodes are available bared and packaged with or without leads as per customer’s request.
